For Streamore on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV
Last updated: 7 June 2026
This policy explains how the Streamore app (“Streamore”, “the app”, “we”) handles information. Streamore is a personal media player for the Apple ecosystem. It does not include, host, index, or recommend any media or sources of its own. All content played through Streamore comes from sources you choose to add (for example a direct HTTPS video link, an M3U playlist, or an Xtream Codes IPTV server).
To work as a player, Streamore stores the configuration you enter. This includes:
This information is stored locally on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, it is also stored in your own private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit (a private database tied to your Apple Account). It is used only to power the app and to keep your devices in sync. The developer has no server and no access to this data.
When you play something, your device streams it directly from the source you configured to your device. The developer is not in that path and does not receive, log, or analyze your playback, viewing history, or the content itself. Any requests and credentials needed to reach a source are sent directly to that source’s server, which is operated by whoever you chose to connect to — not by us (see §4).
Streamore itself contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. Depending on what you set up, the following third parties may receive data directly from your device:
The media servers, playlists, or IPTV providers you add receive your playback requests and any credentials you entered for them. These services are operated by third parties of your choosing and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We have no control over and no relationship with them.
If you enable sync, your library state is stored in your private iCloud database and transferred via Apple’s infrastructure. This is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can disable sync at any time in the app’s settings.
Metadata enrichment is optional and only active if you supply your own TMDB access token. When enabled, the app sends title names/identifiers to TMDB to retrieve posters, descriptions, and ratings. It does not send your personal identity. This is governed by the TMDB Privacy Policy. Streamore uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, you are in control:
Streamore is a general-purpose player and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Data stored on your device is protected by your device’s built-in protections, and data synced to iCloud is protected by Apple’s account security. Because you connect your own sources, please keep any credentials you enter, and the devices they’re stored on, secure.
